CrossRoads is small groups for kids... and it is really FUN! These small groups meet Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 11 a.m., during the Worship Gatherings.
...Ok, so adult small groups are fun too, but c'mon! Most pre-K thru 5th graders live life by doing what is FUN--as much as possible!
Where KidStuf sets up Mom and Dad to engage with their children about God at home, CrossRoads is a chance for kids to engage with each other--and with a mentor--in meaningful discussions and activities. Our mentors, or CrossRoads Group Leaders, are adults among us that are passionate about connecting kids with God, and who want to pass on the wisdom they've gained to your children. (For your peace of mind, we want to let you know that they have also been through background checks.) It's fun, creative, and is a partner program to our KidStuf event at 9:50 AM in the Theatre.
CrossRoads was created with Luke 2:52 in mind: "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." Kids learn 3 basis truths – I need to make the WISE choice, I can TRUST God no matter what, and I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated.
